Problem: Data recovery from Android internal memory (LG Optimus Vu P895) with no USB mass storage option
Mobile Handset: LG Optimus Vu P895
Android Version: 4.0.4
USB Connection Modes Available:
1. Charge only
2. Media sync (MTP)
3. USB tethering
4. LG Software
5. Camera (PTP)
I mistakenly deleted the SD card folder from my phone (this phone only have internal memory – no external memory support), due to this all of my data (around 24 GB very important data) got deleted from my phone and to recover the data through PC (Windows), the phone must connect in “USB Mass storage mode”, however, this mode is not available in my device and due to that the mobile connect as media device in the PC. The Data recovery software’s do not detect “media device” as a drive to recover the data.
One method I tried to recover the data from the internal memory is in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2143188. However, I got raw image of internal memory of only 1 kb.
Please suggest way forward to recover the data or to connect the device as mass storage mode in the PC. My phone is rooted. Busy box is also installed.
It would be a real help if anyone could suggest the way to recover the data from the device internal memory.
