Is there anyway to resurrect an app that's stopped working? topic

There's an app that I use to use called Twitch for Player that suddenly stopped working a few months ago. The app isn't in the Google market anymore and the developer seems to have disappeared too. :(

Its a shame because I watch alot of Twitch streams on my Note 2 and this app was perfect because its the only one on the market that allowed you to watch the stream while having the chat displayed on the side so that you can read chat and watch the stream at the same time. This is unlike the official Twitch app that forces you to go to portrait mode to read chat and then tilt back to landscape for fullscreen.

Here's a link to the app and how it looked like:

The thing is sadly this app stopped working a few months ago in that when you go into a stream, the chat will continue to run as normal and you can see the conversation fine, but the problem is any stream that you go into, it always says 'channel offline' and give you nothing but a black screen. :crying:

So I'm wondering is there any way to 'reactivate' this app again so that the streams will display again or is there no way of doing this and the app is dead for good? :(
