Hi guys, my Xperia SP was on the Sony stock 4.3 firmware. Since it was really laggy compared to pre-4.3 I tried to downgrade the phone by using Flashtool. I found the C5306_12.0.A.2.254_North_America firmware on a random website and successfully installed it onto my phone. The problem is, now the Sony camera app no longer works properly. I can still take photos but they are significantly worse quality than before. I believe Sony disables its camera processing technology when stock rom is no longer detected. Sony's stamina battery and x reality feature also seems to be not working. Now I don't know how exactly the unlocking or relocking of boot-loader and stuff works. but my question is, if I flash an official version of Xperia SP firmware from XperiFirm, would I get those Sony stock rom features back(X reality, camera image processing, stamina battery)?
Also, if I flash an official Xperia Z2 lollipop firmware from the Norway region onto my north america Z2 phone, would that break the Sony exclusive features like what happened to my Xperia SP phone?
