Do I have to have oem unlocking checked and or disable device protection in developer options to install a new Rom?
I am currently running sinless 3.0 (5.1) rom. I have device protection on and the oem unlocking is not checked. My boot loader is unlocked.
I have tried installing chroma and euphoria, 5.1 build but cannot boot up. After installing I get a black screen and if I hold the power button down a white card comes up asking if I want to power of the device. That is all I can do. I then have to restore my sinless twrp back up.
Is this related to the oem unlock. Should I have oem unlocking checked, or remove device protection so I can install a different 5.1 Rom?
