I have a really annoying issue with my XZ lately.
The phone shuts off and won't let me reboot into system whenever the battery is lower than 99% (or as soon as I take it off a power source). Booting into recovery works fine and I can stay in recovery until the battery is completely drained. Booting into system doesn't work.
Those issues first started happening after I went from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2, going back, however, did not help.
I've tried a lot of stuff. Reverting back to stock, flashing a new rom, re-calibrating the battery, discharging completely, deleting batterystats.bin. Nothing.
Since the water detection strip is so stupidly placed that it can come in contact with water when it's raining, my warranty is long gone.
Since it boots -and stays- in recovery just fine, I doubt it is a battery related problem. Can you guys help me?
